Who we are
This website is run by MunarkTech India Pvt Ltd ("Munark"), Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka, India. We decide why and how your personal data is used on this website, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you have a question about your data, email kiran@munark.com.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, company, phone number (if you give it) and your message.
- How you found us, sent with your enquiry: the page you first arrived on, the site or ad that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid). This is kept in your browser for the visit and sent to us only if you submit the form.
- If you allow analytics cookies: how you use the site, such as pages visited, time spent, device, browser and approximate location from your IP address.
- If you allow advertising cookies: whether you arrived from one of our ads and whether you then contacted us, so we can measure our campaigns.
- Every visit: our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser, the page requested and the time) to keep the site running and secure.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we don't need it. This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data about children.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about your plans. You give us this data for that purpose when you send the form.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, so we can improve them. Only with your consent to analytics cookies.
- To measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to be interested. Only with your consent to advertising cookies.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything you haven't been told about here.
Cookies and your choices
Nothing that tracks you loads until you choose. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept all, reject all, or choose each one, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; when you withdraw, we stop loading those tools and delete the cookies we can.
- Necessary: a note in your browser that remembers your cookie choice. It holds no personal details and lasts 12 months, after which we ask again.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Its cookies last up to two years.
- Advertising: Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn when we run campaigns there. Their cookies last for the periods those companies set.
Each of these companies also handles data under its own privacy policy.
Who handles your data for us
- Amazon Web Services: hosts the website and receives the contact form.
- Resend: delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Cloudflare: checks that a person, not a script, is sending the contact form. Its check loads only when you start filling in the form, and Cloudflare sees your browser details and IP address to make that decision.
- Google Workspace: our email.
- Google, Meta and LinkedIn: analytics and advertising, only with your consent.
They handle your data on our instructions or under their own terms. Some of them store or process data outside India, including in the United States. We use them only where the law allows it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. If you do, we keep what our contract and the law require.
- Analytics data: 14 months, then Google deletes it.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months.
- Technical logs: only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security.
After that, we delete the data or make sure it can no longer identify you.
